DAY 13!
We woke up in Seligman, Arizona. In the daylight we were able to take a better look at the Snow Cap Drive-In offering "Cheeseburgers with Cheese" and "Dead Chicken Sandwiches"
This town was packed with tourists from around the globe. Many of them were like paparazzi taking pictures of dad's car.
On the way out of Seligman we stopped by the Hackberry General Store with an extensive Route 66 and nostalgia collection.
After 2 hours driving in the desert we made our side trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. And booked a cheap room at the Excalibur hotel and Casino.
Then my dad took me to the restaurant of my choice. Which was Poppy Den by my favorite Chef, Angelo Sosa from New York.
Goat Cheese and Watermellon Salad.
Teriyaki chicken taco and Fish Taco.
Pork Belly and Kimchee Fried Rice.
Next we headed over to the Rio Hotel to see Penn & Teller!
The skyline from the top of the Rio parking garage.
Uh-oh my dad found out the World Series of Poker is here.
One of my dad's idols, multi-millionaire Poker star and author who my dad has bought books by, Daniel Negreauno!
Then we drove down the old strip. Fremont Street.
The Golden Nugget.
Now back to our Hotel the Excalibur!
By the way, did we mention we got to meet Penn & Teller?
Highlight of the trip so far!
Check back for more updates and adventures! If you'd like to see more from where we've been, here's is my dad's newest video below.
